Acceptable Use Policy
Effective Date: September 9, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy sets the rules for using Osoru, our website at osoru.io, and our related applications and services (together, the "Services") provided by Intelligent Systems LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company doing business as Osoru ("Osoru," "Company," "we," or "us"). It applies to every user of the Services and is incorporated into our Terms of Use at osoru.io/legal/terms. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Use. If this policy conflicts with the Terms of Use or an applicable Customer Agreement, those documents control.
1. General Restrictions
You will not, and will not permit any Authorized User or third party to:
- Use the Services in violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right, including laws governing insurance producers, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the CAN-SPAM Act, export and sanctions laws, and data-protection and privacy laws.
- Access or use the Services other than as permitted by the Terms of Use, the Documentation, or the Customer Agreement, or in excess of authorized seats, volumes, rate limits, or usage tiers.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, translate, or otherwise attempt to discover or derive the source code, object code, models, architecture, algorithms, data schemas, or underlying ideas of the Services, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
- Copy, modify, adapt, translate, create derivative works from, frame, mirror, republish, distribute, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, time-share, or otherwise commercially exploit the Services, except as expressly permitted.
- Circumvent, disable, probe, scan, test the vulnerability of, or otherwise interfere with or attempt to defeat any security, authentication, rate-limiting, usage-metering, access-control, tenant-isolation, or digital-rights-management feature of the Services, or conduct any penetration test or security assessment of the Services without our prior written authorization.
- Access or attempt to access any account, tenant, data, system, or network that you are not authorized to access, or use the Services to obtain or attempt to obtain the data of any other Customer or Authorized User.
- Introduce or transmit any virus, worm, malware, or other harmful code, or take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on, disrupts, degrades, or impairs the integrity, security, availability, or performance of the Services or the systems or networks underlying them, including any denial-of-service activity.
- Use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access, monitor, harvest, or copy any content or data from the Services, except through interfaces and within limits we expressly provide for that purpose.
- Use the Services, Outputs, or any Documentation to develop, train, or improve any product, service, or machine-learning or artificial-intelligence model that competes with the Services, or to benchmark the Services for a competitor, or to assist anyone else in doing so.
- Upload, submit, or transmit any content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, obscene, deceptive, fraudulent, or that violates the rights of any third party, or use the Services to send unsolicited or unlawful communications.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, impersonate any person or entity, or use the Services in a manner that suggests an association with or endorsement by us that does not exist.
- Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notice, branding, or attribution in the Services or Outputs.
2. Acceptable Use of AI Features
The Services use artificial intelligence to generate Outputs from data. In addition to Section 1, you will not, and will not permit any Authorized User or third party to:
- Submit prompts or other Inputs designed to manipulate, jailbreak, or circumvent the Services' safety, content, security, usage, or rate controls, or to cause the Services to operate outside their intended functionality.
- Attempt to discover, extract, expose, copy, or reconstruct any system or developer prompt, instruction, model, model weight or parameter, embedding, training data, or other confidential or proprietary component of the Services, including through prompt injection or other adversarial inputs.
- Use the Services or any Output to infer, extract, or reconstruct the Customer Data, Inputs, Outputs, or confidential information of any other Customer or Authorized User.
- Use the Services to generate content that is unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, malicious, or that facilitates wrongdoing, or to create or train any competing or derivative artificial-intelligence model.
- Submit to the AI features any special-category, sensitive, or otherwise regulated data except as expressly permitted by the Customer Agreement, the Data Processing Addendum, and applicable law.
- Configure or use an agent, automation, or connection to send Customer Data or personal information to a destination you are not authorized to send it to, or in a way that violates applicable law, the rights of others, or the terms of the receiving service.
- Use agents or automations to send unsolicited or unlawful communications, to take actions on systems or accounts you are not authorized to access, or to circumvent approval, permission, or rate controls in the Services.
3. Enforcement and Reporting
If you violate this policy, we may suspend, limit, or terminate your access to the Services as described in Section 15 of the Terms of Use. Where practicable and not prohibited, we will use reasonable efforts to provide notice and to limit the scope and duration of any suspension. To report a suspected violation of this policy, contact us at info@osoru.io.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the Effective Date above, and material changes will be handled as described in the Terms of Use.
4. Capture and Recording
The Services include features that capture screens, images, audio and, in some applications, location. They exist so you can record walkthroughs, explanations and demonstrations for your own customers, and so you can keep a record of a conversation.
Wherever you record another person, the obligation to inform them and to obtain their agreement is yours, and you assume it. That is true whichever feature you use and whatever you are using it for. You must:
- Obtain the agreement of every participant where the law requires it. Recording laws differ by jurisdiction. Some require the agreement of every party to a conversation rather than only the person recording, and the law of the place where each participant is may apply.
- Tell people before recording starts. You must not conceal, disguise or misrepresent that a recording is taking place, and you must not record anyone who has been led to believe they are not being recorded.
- Not disable, obscure, cover or circumvent any indicator an Osoru application displays during a capture.
- Meet any notice obligation that applies to recording or monitoring people who work for you. Several jurisdictions require advance written notice before an employer records or monitors employees.
- Use a recording only for the purpose participants were told about, and where you publish one to people outside your workspace, have the right to do so.
- Not capture material you have no right to capture, including another person's confidential information, and not use capture to conduct surveillance of a person.
Before capture is possible we ask you to confirm that you understand you are responsible for informing people before you record them, and we point you to guidance on recording law. An Osoru application shows an indicator while capture is running. These are aids. They do not discharge your obligations, they are not legal advice, and they do not transfer any part of the responsibility above to us.
Publishing a recording. Where the Services let you publish a recording so people outside your workspace can watch it, anyone holding the link can open it without signing in. You choose what to publish and who to send the link to. Publishing a recording of another person is a disclosure by you, and the obligations above apply to it.
We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of this section.
